Food tasted lovely , was a very good portion for the belly buster .The downside was the waiting time more than an hour ,with the driver arriving with the food already cold. I guess that is from multiple stops with other customers delivery on transit making multiple stops . I would order again ,but the cold food has really got me down.

I have city spice usually once a week and I am usually very satisfied, however my order tonight arrived exactly 1 hr after ordering which in turn was cold!! ( Had to go in the microwave to heat up) I ordered a cheese nan and got a chapati soddened in garlic (horrible) The curry was a bright orange totally different to what I am used too, So as you can imagine, not happy this time , hope it improves next time .

2nd time ordering from City Spice, first time I ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi & the Tarka Dhal which were excellent. This time tried the Tandoori chicken & Lamb Rogan Josh which were not very good. I get the impression that the chicken is frozen but most of all, don't think it was marinated or cooked in a Tandoor oven. Large chunks of meat with a bit of colour and flavour on the outside but flavourless inside. Perhaps that's why it was served with a sauce? Still reasonably priced but I won't be ordering any other Tandoori dishes - might pay the place a visit to discuss with the chef/owner.

I'm impressed - first time I've tried City Spice but it won't be the last. Very reasonable prices, good flavours and generous portions (means I've got leftovers for lunch today which will taste even better!). Tarka dhal was the best I've had for a long time. I look forward to working my way through the other menu options. Thanks for the deliveryman who delivered on time in the pouring rain and also pointed out that my wife had left her front door key outside in the lock.

Delivery time was quick but not too quick that makes you think the food isn't fresh because the food was amazing. I can honestly say the best takeaway I've ever had. Definitely our new favourite place. The bombay also is so good.
